How do we make the world a better place for underserved and at-risk children?
Troubles worldwide can feel overwhelming and discouraging, but it only takes one small act of kindness to change the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children.
Unity 4 Orphans provides several ways to care for vulnerable children living in poverty, setting them on a course to secure futures with more opportunities. Our programs include English as a second language education, holistic care including counseling to help overcome trauma, and service trips to orphanages in Tijuana to just show the kids that they’re loved.
Affecting Positive Change, One Small Act of Kindness at a Time
World news headlines can seem so overwhelming that we don’t even know where to begin helping others. We feel the weight of suffering all around and often feel that one person’s efforts can’t possibly help, but each of us can affect positive change through our actions.
As our founder Joe Brandi shared, if we want to make the world a better place, it’s as simple as loving our neighbors, as Jesus calls us to do. Our “neighbors” may be right next door, across the border, or even on a different continent altogether. There are so many opportunities to give to others, and the only key is to start somewhere, even with something as simple as a lemonade stand, as six-year-old Aashi showed us!

Opportunities to Make a Difference for Vulnerable Children
U4O strives to serve underprivileged children in Latin America, and offer service opportunities to our community of regular supporters and those we have yet to meet. Some, like Jared Lutmer, choose to give financially as a child sponsor, offering English as a Second Language education to break the cycle of poverty for children in Nicaragua, some choose to give of their time to the children living at orphanages in Tijuana, and others contribute to our collection drives for items to improve the quality of life for the kids we serve!
