U4O Team Unites for a Shared Purpose and Vision

U4O Team Unites for a Shared Purpose and Vision

Each year the Unity 4 Orphans team gathers to fellowship, celebrate recent developments, and share our visions for the future of the organization and the children we serve.

The U4O team has grown in number of members and the number of countries represented, and thanks to the hospitality of Board Director Laura Fellows and her family, we gathered together as a united team.

A Collective Heart for Vulnerable Children Unites the U4O Team

Our organization has persevered through many highs and lows in our 13-year history, from initial growing pains to finding new ways to thrive during the pandemic. In the past year, we’ve seen more growth than ever before, both in our programs and on our multi-national team. Most importantly, we’re now providing support to over 1,500 children suffering from poverty and orphanhood.

Unity 4 Orphans has a great mission to bring hope to the lives of vulnerable children around the globe. I’m honored to serve with such an incredible team, each member of which has a strong heart for serving others above themselves. Thank you to all teammates, donors, supporters, and volunteers for being part of the U4O Family. We couldn’t serve over 1,500 of the most vulnerable children without you.

Paul Polakowski, Board Chairman

New Team Members Bring Leadership and Vision to our Nonprofit

The growth we’ve experienced over the past year spans our core headquarters team to our Latin America team and in-country partners in Mexico, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Panama. We hired our first engagement director in the spring, Caitlin, who flew in from Ohio to meet the San Diego and Mexico staff and work closely with leadership, sharing ideas and developing plans to benefit the kids we serve.

I’m so grateful to be a part of the U4O team. The caliber of individuals who are investing their time and skills on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children continues to be an encouragement to me!

Caitlin Snyder, Engagement Director

Selfless Partners Work Tirelessly to Nourish and Educate Children Living in Poverty

We have not only expanded into more countries but also multiplied our impact, such as in Nicaragua, where God has blessed us with incredible partners in a new region. Because of their dedication, children suffering from extreme poverty and malnourishment are receiving vital nutrition, with over 3,700 meals served last month.

In Mexico, children at the orphanages are healing from trauma and improving in school, including those with special needs, thanks to our talented in-country team. We look forward to sharing these stories and more in the future!

It’s taken a long time for God to assemble a team that has great chemistry, character, and competency to build something beyond the initial vision I had. God makes wonderful people and somehow we’ve all found each other. We’re at a new level of growth and want to keep on growing qualitatively and numerically to help as many children as possible have the abundant life that God intends for them to have. Maybe you can be part of this team too.

–Joe Brandi, Founder

We’re grateful for where our organization has been, where we’re going, and to everyone who shares our mission. It’s a privilege to work alongside so many who are dedicated to brighter futures for children who need it most. There are so many ways to get involved; join us!
