Window Screens Matter!
Thanks to our community’s incredible generosity we were able to provide screen doors and install window screens at one of our partner orphanages in Tijuana.
Within 24 hours of our request for donations towards this urgent need, we had enough funds for all the screens needed so the kids can sleep without the nuisance of flies buzzing around the dormitory! And, thanks to the generosity of our community, we are also helping to fix the orphanage’s outdated septic tank, which–as you can imagine–is a big deal!
These are simple ways we were able to significantly improve the quality of life for the beautiful children we serve.
We strive to understand the specific needs of the children so that they can have a better quality of life, and on a recent service trip, these basic but vital needs were brought to our attention. Providing for simple inadequacies that affect their lifestyle enables them to do their best in school and more importantly, lets them know that they are valuable and loved.
