Congratulations to Our 1st Graduating Class in Nicaragua!

Unity 4 Orphans recently celebrated the graduation of six students from our ESL program in Miramar, Nicaragua and couldn’t be prouder! Along with their teachers, they worked hard, and we commend their efforts and drive to succeed. Fluency in English expands their opportunities, giving each of them a brighter outlook on the future.

Sunday, December 12, 2021 was a special day for the students in our program in Nicaragua: Graduation Day! Unity 4 Orphans is especially proud of our first graduating class, who have persevered through many trials to reach this milestone!

I’m committed to you guys, to Miramar, forever. Enjoy this achievement and be proud of yourselves! -Joe Brandi, U4O Founder

U4O Staff and Students Overcoming Challenges Together

We also celebrate the dedicated teachers who walked with these students every step of the way throughout the past several years as they faced unprecedented hurdles. From political unrest to the restrictions caused by the pandemic, the staff and students overcame challenges together, reaching their goals and providing inspiration to countless others.

We are very appreciative of the staff and teachers who stuck with it and held this program together despite challenging circumstances. -Keem Schultz-Fares, U4O board Member

Graduation Ceremony in Miramar

Most of the graduates have been part of the U4O program since its inception in 2008. They progressed through 14 levels of English language mastery, with each level lasting for a duration of 12 weeks. Witnessing their hard work has not only inspired us, but their fellow students following in their footsteps. The inspiration they’ve provided will continue to cause ripples in their community as proof that the goal of ESL proficiency can be reached!

The afternoon ceremony in Miramar featured six students graduating from the program, witnessed by their families, teachers, and some ESL students who presented cultural dances and poems. Each of the students in the advanced group participated in setup and décor, also exemplifying the kind of dedication it takes to achieve their goals.

Congratulations to the graduating class of 2021! We can’t wait to see how you use your talents to brighten your futures and better the world around you!
