Unity 4 Orphans’ 4th annual Wave-A-Thon is coming up soon and it’s our favorite fundraiser of summer, where we raise money to help vulnerable children in Latin America through education and holistic care.
Surf for a Cause at Unity 4 Orphans’ Wave-A-Thon
Our organization and our community continue to bless the children we serve with creative and unique fundraising efforts, and our annual Wave-A-Thon is the perfect way to enjoy San Diego. This day of sun and fun, now in its fourth year, brings together surfers, boogie boarders, and stand-up paddle boarders who catch waves for an awesome cause. Everyone has a great time; whether out in the water or cheering from the shore.
When I go into these countries and I meet these kids who want to learn English, who need food, and I look around and nobody else is doing something, I think, “Why not us?” And why not invite the world and everybody I come across to be part of this?
