New Management Team Structure Enables Growth

Unity 4 Orphans is pleased to announce a new full-time headquarters team member who will oversee operations and finances, helping us grow even more robust in 2024 and bring transformation to more vulnerable children than ever before.

Our organization has been steadily growing for the past few years and 2023 was the biggest yet, with the addition of Caitlin Snyder as Engagement Director, our second full-time employee. With our most recent addition of Dan Gossett as Operations & Finance Director, we are pleased to announce a restructuring in our leadership team to better support the rapid growth of our nonprofit and provide guidance and transparency.

2023 Was U4O’s Biggest Year So Far

We experienced several big changes in 2023 both internally and externally with new partnerships in countries like Nicaragua and Panama. Thanks to the generosity of our awesome community we were able to increase support in one or more of our programs to over 1,700 vulnerable children.

As we continue to fulfill our mission by expanding our support to more vulnerable children around the world, we’ve implemented a new three-person, coequal leadership team consisting of Caitlin, Dan, and me. This new structure better empowers each of our team members and aligns with their respective talents, enabling U4O to scale more effectively.

New Operations and Finance Director Joins U4O Management Team

The growth of our organization and expansion of our mission will be well-supported by a new management team structure consisting of a 3-person leadership team. We’re excited to welcome Dan Gossett, a longtime friend of Joe’s, and early U4O supporter as our new Operations and Finance Director.

As our organization continues to grow, Dan will help scale our systems and processes to ensure that we are efficient and transparent with our resources and finances.
–Paul Polakowski, Board Chairman

Dan’s experience and strengths are an excellent fit for U4O as we embark upon a new year with incredible potential to transform the lives of more orphaned and vulnerable children than ever before. He will be an integral part of managing our program partners, events, and data, and we’re thankful to have him on board.

A 3-Person Leadership Structure Enables Greater Reach to Help Children

As we hit the ground running in 2024, we look forward to sharing all that we’re accomplishing together to bring transformation to kids who need it most. Together we’re helping to break cycles of poverty through our robust family of programs: Education 4 Change, Healing 4 Change, Nutrition 4 Change, Play 4 Change, and Shelter 4 Change.

Dan played a pivotal role in creating the foundation for the Unity 4 Orphans of today and we are excited to have him onboard to help lead us during an exciting period of growth.
–Joe Brandi, Founder & Mission Director

Stay tuned to learn more about Dan and receive updates on what each of our partners and programs achieve this year. Together we can make 2024 the most successful year in the history of our organization and bring hope and transformation to vulnerable children around the world.
