Unity 4 Orphans continues to grow, consistently welcoming more vulnerable children and in-country partners, and is experiencing a leadership transition to continue serving our expanding network.
U4O has been through many challenges and changes in our fourteen-year history. Through it all God is faithful. Our focus remains on helping as many of the one billion vulnerable children worldwide as possible through English as a second language, counseling, and tutoring. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for our staff, partner network, and most importantly, the children we serve.
Building On the Past While Looking To the Future of U4O’s Mission
In the past few years, we’ve weathered difficulties due to the pandemic, changes in staff and board members, and expansion of operations. The leadership transition from Founder Joe Brandi to Executive Director Caitlin Snyder acknowledges the strengths and hard work that has led to this point and those required to usher in the future.
With the steadfast support of U4O’s generous donors, partners, volunteers, teammates, advisors, and board members, U4O has grown far beyond anything I had ever imagined to an organization that transforms the lives of marginalized children living in some of the world’s most oppressive countries.
–Joe Brandi, Founder
What began as a God-given vision to help children stuck in the cycle of poverty has become a highly functional and intricate network of like-minded partners, donors, and team members. We honor these roots and wish Joe many blessings as he transitions into a new chapter in his ministry. We prayerfully look to the future, eagerly anticipating what God has in store.
Leadership Transition Ushers in a New Season for Unity 4 Orphans
We’ve seen rapid growth over the past eighteen months, and as operations expand and evolve, new skill sets come into play. We’ve been blessed with Joe’s vision and passion for helping vulnerable children and are grateful for the firm foundation upon which he’s built an impactful and important nonprofit.
We are excited to be fulfilling Joe’s vision for Unity 4 Orphans to transform the lives of vulnerable children throughout Latin America. The nearly 1,500 children we serve owe everything to Joe’s vision, trust in God, love for vulnerable populations around the globe and his decade of service to the organization he founded. We wish Joe the best as he pursues the very important mission of leading in-person discipleship efforts in San Diego.
–Paul Polakowski, Board Chairman
