Meet U4O’s Mental Health Professional In Nicaragua
This is Greyddyn Rodriguez, the psychologist for Unity 4 Orphan’s English program in Miramar, Nicaragua, who has been working with us since early 2019! Her role is to care for the psychological health of each child and foster a healthy environment for them.
My greatest motivator working with Unity 4 Orphans is the results we get to see.
Greyddyn says, “My greatest motivator working with Unity 4 Orphans is the results we get to see. For example, when there are learning challenges with the children, I assess their needs, give them techniques, and work closely with their teachers and parents. Seeing their results brings me fulfillment and motivates me to believe that we are an agent of change in this place. Little by little, we can contribute so these children have better possibilities in their lives and better conditions in which to develop as individuals.”
We are so thankful for Greyddyn using her God-given talent to benefit the wonderful children in our ESL program.
