Why did you originally get involved with U4O?
I love taking surf trips to Central America with my son and friends but was also looking for a way I could give back and serve. A trusted friend introduced me to Joe and U4O. It was clearly a God thing as we both had an instant connection and knew it was exactly where I needed to be plugged in.
How long have you been involved with U4O?
What motivates you to stay involved with U4O?
U4O has been the perfect platform to build relationships and serve the abandoned/vulnerable children of Nicaragua. I have been able to see transformation and real progress in the lives of these precious people. It’s what the gospel is all about and what continues to both inspire and motivate me.
What do you do as an advisory board member for U4O?
Keep Joe out of trouble : ) No really, I primarily focus on the strategic direction, planning, and fund raising efforts for the Nicaragua segment of the organization. I also act as an accountability and advisory partner for Joe and others on the board.
Tell us about yourself!
I am married with three grown children and have five grandchildren plus a four pound Biewer Yorkie that we appropriately named “Nica”! I am a former Disney executive but now am a partner with an attractions company based in Orlando, FL. When I’m not working I love taking family vacations, travel to tropical places, go surfing, and play guitar.
